CARTHAGE
Tommy Farr Gibbons, age 68, died Tuesday (November 24, 2009) at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.
Memorial service will be 11:00 AM Friday at Crossroads Community Church conducted by Evangelist David Bibey.
A native of Moore County he was the son of the late Raymond L Gibbons. He owned and operated Tommy's Small Engine Shop in Carthage for many years.
He is survived by: two daughters, Michelle G. Kelly and Beth Yost and husband, Daryl all of Carthage; four sons, Andy Gibbons, Brian Gibbons and wife, Laura; Tommy F. Gibbons, II and wife, Cristy all of Carthage and Alex Gibbons of Robbins; mother, Lula Kimball Gibbons; sisters, Betty Garner, Mary Lou Matthews, Judy Garner and Ruth Woods all of Carthage, Patty Holder of Clayton, Alice Caviness of Robbins; brothers, Sherman Gibbons or Raleigh, James Gibbons of Whispering Pines and John Gibbons of Carthage; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends following the service.
