Merriman Thomas (Tommy) Salmon, Jr., 74, of Carthage died Saturday, May 19th at First Health Moore Regional Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Good News Community Church in Carthage with Rev. Jim Boyte officiating. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum at Lee Memory Gardens in Sanford.
Born August 4, 1937 in Moore County he was a son of the late Thomas and Lena Davis Salmon.
Tommy was the owner and operator of Salmon Motors, a member of Good News Community Church and was a generous man and loving father.
He is survived by his children, Rhonda, Jill, and Ray, two brothers, Billy and Joseph, seven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. on Tuesday at the church.
