Toni Marie Jackson, 68, passed away on Saturday June 12, 2021 at her home surrounded by family.

She was born on March 23, 1953 in Bremerhaven, Germany. For many years, Toni worked at Food Lion as a butcher. She later worked at Walmart and Fresh Market before venturing into being a person chief, as well as a caregiver. Toni was known for always having a way with her words and sharing comfort and laughter when you needed it most.

She was preceded in death by her beloved Oma and Opa.

She is survived by her husband of 28 years; James Jackson, her parents; John Rooy and Giselle Eschberger Rooy, her best friend; Barbara Wheeler and her God-daughter; Kerry Barfield and family.

Her personality was one of a kind. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. Her friends and family will cherish the lovely memories they shared for the rest of their lives. Till we meet again…

A visitation will be held from 6-8pm on Wednesday June 16, 2021 at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home.
