Tony Glenn English, Jr., 33, of Carthage went home to be with our Lord on Monday, April 7, 2014.

The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 12 at First Baptist Church in Robbins, with Reverend Kenneth McNeill and Reverend Hubert McLeod officiating. Burial will follow at Brown’s Chapel Church Cemetery in Spies.

He was born March 6, 1981 and worked most of his life in the roofing industry. He was best known for the deep love he had for his family and friends and never wasted an opportunity to tell them. In return, he was loved by all who knew him and he will be greatly missed, especially his bright smile, sweet personality, and the mischievous pranks he would play on those around him.

Tony is survived by his mother, Kimberly Craven of the home; grandparents, Thomas and Jane Lethco of Eagle Springs and Maggie English of Robbins; brothers, Donnie (Sheena) English of Lobelia and Shane (Autumn) English of the home; step-brothers, Bradley (Sheena) Cox of Cameron and Dalton Craven of Robbins; step-sister, Miranda Craven of Albemarle; nieces, Abigail English and Lilly’Ann English; nephews: Landon and Braden English, Caleb Cox; and countless aunts, uncles, cousins, and other extended family, especially the many dear friends who loved Tony just like family. He was preceded in death by his father, Tony English, Sr., and his grandfather, Junior English.

A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 11 at Kennedy Funeral Home, in Robbins.

The family would like to thank everyone for the prayers and other acts of love during this extremely difficult time. In lieu of flowers, to help with funeral expenses, donations may be made to his mother or to the Tony English Memorial Fund at any First Bank location.
