Tracy Lee Spencer 74,  passed away Monday, March 2, 2015 at Randolph Hospice House.

 

Funeral service will be held 3:00 PM, Wednesday March 4, 2015  at Needhams Grove Baptist Church, where he was a member,  with the Reverend James Cockram and  Reverend Arnold Comer officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM at the church and other times at the home.

 

Tracy was a native of Randolph County. He worked for 36 years in the textile industry retiring from Ramtex Industries, as a supervisor. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Tracy enjoyed any time spent with his family.  He enjoyed fast cars and NASCAR racing.

 

He was the son of the late Grady and Fannie Spencer and he was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Jean, twin brother: Lacy Spencer;  sister: Janie Spencer.

 

He is survived by his sons: Gary Lee Spencer and fiancee Teresa Godesky, of Asheboro;  Bruce Spencer and wife Sharon, of Seagrove; grandson: Nathan Spencer; sisters: Eva Davis and husband Pete, Bonnie Kennedy and Estelle Williams and husband Rufus; sister in laws: Coreen Luck and husband Harvey; Nell Brady and Shirley Spencer.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Needhams Grove Baptist Church Building Fund, 359 Needhams Grove Rd. Seagrove, NC 27341.
