Seagrove: Tracy M. Comer 90 of 388 Jugtown Rd. died Saturday February 6,2010 at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at Needhams Grove Baptist Church where he was a member with the Rev. James Cockram and the Rev. Arnold Comer officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Military Honors provided by the Randolph County Honor Guard.
He was a native of Randolph County, was a WWII Veteran, was a retired self employed sawmill lumber hauler and farmer. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Dorothy Comer, parents, Coy L. and Florence Comer, Brothers Bill Comer,Ted Comer.. Sisters, Edith C. Yow, Ethel C. Kennedy, Mattie C. Needham.
Surviving are: daughters, Linda Chriscoe and Husband Wayne of Seagrove,Libby Richardson and husband Mark of Robbins, Marilyn Comer of Seagrove, Karen Rich and husband Reid (Ricky) of Asheboro, Tammy Goins and husband Frankie of Seagrove, Emily Auman and husband, Vance of Seagrove.
Seven grandchildren, Patrick Chriscoe and wife Bobbie, Kayly, Dana, Lauren, Landon, Luke, and Carla. Two great grandchildren, Dylon and Luke.
Sisters, Mittie Williamson, Helen Ritter, Evelyn Caviness, Lola Upton, and Betty Caviness. Brothers, Carroll Comer, Arnold Comer.
Family will receive friends from 7-9 P.M. Monday February 8, 2010 at Kennedy Funeral Home in Robbins, all other times at the home.
