Vance was a lifelong resident of Moore County, a graduate of North Moore High School and UNC Charlotte, with a degree in Civil Engineering. He worked at Shearon Harris, Myrick Construction, Daniels Construction and Vance Lambert Construction Company. Vance was a loving son, father and grandfather.
