Vicky McLeod

vicky mcleod

Vicky McLeod, 69 met her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in Heaven on Sunday, April 21 2024 by way of the Reid Heart Center in Pinehurst surrounded by her husband and children.

Vicky was born in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri to her late parents Roy and Esther Reynolds.  Vicky and Danny McLeod were united in marriage on August, 18, 1973 and would have celebrated 51 years of marriage this August.

Vicky was an amazing Wife, Mother and Grandmother. She was very devoted to her husband, her 3 children and their spouses, as well as her grandchildren, which were her pride and joy. She was a committed follower of Jesus Christ and a loyal member of Crossroads Baptist Church in Robbins N.C. Vicky faithfully and joyfully served in many capacities in their church, such as working in women’s ministries, teaching children, singing in the church choir and wherever a need presented itself.

Vicky was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Esther, and her brother Scottie who were all waiting to greet her in Heaven.

She is survived by her husband Danny, sons: Wesley and (Margaret), BJ and (Melanie); daughter: Jessica and (Adam) Bishop. As well as her 6 grandchildren, Kirsten, Peyton and (Kiana), Micah, Ava, Hudson, and Kimber. Also by brothers David Reynolds and (Sherry) and Mark Reynolds, her sisters Belinda Smith and (Junior), Ginger Wilson and (Frank), sister in law Anna Reynolds.

Vicky was an incredibly strong and Godly woman.  She left a legacy to her family of God’s amazing love and grace, and was an example to all who knew her.  We look forward to the day we will be reunited in Heaven.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 25, 2024 at Crossroads Baptist Church, with Pastor Colton Moore officiating.   Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM, Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at Kennedy Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to Crossroads Baptist Church.

  11. I had the joy of working for many years with Vicky at Robbins Elementary, and was blessed to call her my friend. Vicky loved BIG, letting others know through her smiles, hugs, and kisses on the head that they were important to her. She was a good listener and trustworthy friend, and I’m thankful for the talks we had over the years and the advice that she gave. To be loved by Vicky was truly a gift. I told my son last night that I couldn’t imagine a world without Vicky McLeod, but I know without a doubt that Vicky is in a much better place with no more sickness, safe in the arms of Jesus.
