Virginia "Sue" Wilcox, age 73 of Candor and formerly of Moore County died Wednesday (February 17, 2009) at The E. Carlton Powell Hospice Center in Lillington.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday at Cool Springs United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. William Cashion and Rev. Neil Parsons. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A native of Moore County she was a daughter of the late Robert Floyd Wilcox and Wilma Warren Wilcox. For the last 20 years she had been a resident at Baaseiah Family Care in Candor.
She is survived by: her brother William "Cy" Wilcox, II and wife Jeanette of Carthage; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home from 6:00 —8:00 PM Friday and other times at the residence of Cy and Jeanette Wilcox.
