W. "Johnny" Wadsworth, age 54 of 561 Wadsworth Rd., died Saturday at his home.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday at Union Presbyterian Church Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Thomas Currie and the Rev. James Belle.
A native of Moore county, he was one of eight children of the late Glenn and Annie Wadsworth. He was raised on a tobacco farm, where he still lived, and was a poultry and cattle farmer. He was a member of Union Presbyterian Church, attended Union Pines High School and Sandhills Community College. He was a loving father, husband, brother and uncle. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother O. C. Leslie.
He is survived by: wife Renea Russell Wadsworth of the home; one daughter Graceie Wadsworth of the home: sisters Mary Lou Starr of Carthage, Lynne Wadsworth of Carthage, Mitzi McKenzie of West End, Shirley Allen of Laurinburg; brothers R. G. Wadsworth, Jr. of Carthage, Phillip Wadsworth of Pleasant Garden and Mark Wadsworth of Calabash.

The family will be receiving friends after the graveside service in the Church Fellowship Hall and at other times at the home.
