Wanda Davis Maness, 70, passed away Friday, November 12, 2021 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.

Wanda was born December 18, 1950 in Moore County. She worked in the textile industry until her retirement.  She was  a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  Wanda enjoyed spending time with all her family.  She was a good cook and never wanted anyone to leave her house hungry.  She liked to be outside, sitting on the front porch, caring for her garden and flowers. She loved the Lord, liked to talk about Jesus and was always faithful to her church, Brown Chapel Christian Church. Wanda was a daughter of the late Gurnie Lee Davis and Fonnie Davis Wallace and was preceded in death by husband Ronald “Punk” Maness; brothers: Kenneth Davis, Robert Davis, Ronnie Wallace.

Wanda is survived by daughter: Angela Davidson; son: Randy Maness; grandchildren: Michael Maness and wife Brittney, Shannon Davidson and wife Bethany, Jeffrey Davidson, Jeremy Davidson, Bradley Maness, Branden Maness, Tristen Maness; great grandchildren:  Maddix, Rachel, Emma, McKinley, Memphis, Maddlyn, Mackayla; sisters: Lib Cromer, Faye Horner and husband Jerry; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Maness Family Cemetery, 467 Rushwood Road, Robbins, NC, with the Reverend Shaun Garner officiating. 

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM on Monday, November, 15, 2021 at Kennedy Funeral Home, Robbins, NC and at other times at the home.   

Kennedy Funeral Home is assisting the Maness family.

Wanda was so kind & always so caring. She did everything she possibly could for Mama & us. Our thoughts & love are with her family. She will be missed so much! 💕💕💕

  6. We grew up together my sister Joann and Wanda and I we use to do alot together she will be missed now Joann will get to see her friend again
