Wilbert Wesley Horner

Wilbert Wesley Horner 69, passed away Friday, March 16, 2018 at his home, surrounded by his family.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, March 19, 2018 at Calvary Baptist Church, Robbins, NC with the Reverend Todd Moore and Reverend Bill Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 10:00 AM and at other times at the home.

Wesley was a native of Moore County and a retired truck driver. He enjoyed NASCAR, Westerns, Rock N Roll and gambling.  Wesley was known as “Pops” to many people and always loved children, especially, all the grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was an avid motorcyclist and dog lover. He was a son of the late Wilbert  Howard Horner and Sarah May Kennedy and was preceded in death by children: Todd and Gina May Horner.

Wesley is survived by his wife, of 22 years, Betty; daughters: Susie, Renee`, Carlotta, Robin, Judith, Wendy; 18 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; step mother: Sally Horner; step father: Curtis Kennedy and many friends.
