Wilburt Tom Howard Horner 80, of 216 Trail Ridge Road, died Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, May 14, 2010 at Guiding Light Baptist Church where he was a member with Reverend Clyde Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Horner was a native of Moore County. His parents, Archie and Myrtle Wallace Horner and a brother Floyd Horner preceded him in death.
Surviving are his wife, Sally Goad Horner, daughters, Diane Cross of Hamlet, Debbie Bowers of Ellerbe, Sheila Sheffield of Robbins, sons, Wesley Horner of Robbins, Stoney Horner of Robbins and Carl Horner of Robbins. Mr. Horner had 19 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday, May 13, 2010 at Guiding Light Baptist Church and at other times at the home.
