William Ellis Aldridge, Sr. 70, of 221 Flag Creek Lane, died Friday, November 19, 2010 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, November 21, 2010 at Kennedy Funeral Home, Robbins, NC with Military Honors. The Reverend Monty Brown will officiate.
Mr. Aldridge retired from the United States Navy, after serving several tours in Vietnam. He then worked for Ryanâa‚¬a„¢s Restaurants in air conditioning and refrigeration. He was preceded in death by his parents Ellis Edison and Fruzia Ann Aldridge, sisters: Barbara Lewis and Betty Gagarine.
Surviving is his wife, Forrestine Ellen Aldridge, of the home, sons: W. Ellis Aldridge, Jr. and wife Victoria, of Robbins, Arron âa‚¬A'Edâa‚¬A Aldridge and wife Joy, of Summerville, SC, sisters: Patricia Aldridge, of Columbia, SC, Katie Sumler, of Blythwood, SC, grandchildren: Justin, Vicki, Ashley, Will, Shelby, Austin and Jacob.
The family will receive friends following the memorial service.
