William Barnhart

William (Bill) G. Barnhart 92 of Knollwood Village, Southern Pines, N. C. died on November 22, 2009 at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born on April 15, 1917 in Cleveland, Ohio to Charles Ward Barnhart and Anna Ottley Barnhart. He was the youngest of five children. Bill married Jean Salisbury of Shaker Heights, Ohio on December 5, 1940.
Bill served his country as a Sergeant in The US Army from 1941 until his honorable discharge in 1945.
After completing his military service, Bill spent several years as the assistant Vice President of Taylor Chair of Bedford, Ohio. He then found his true love to be automobiles working for several dealers in Ohio and Pennsylvania before himself becoming the Lincoln, Mercury and Ford dealer in Scranton, PA.
