William Floyd Britt age 68, passed away Monday, February 29, 2016 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
Memorial service will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 5, 2016 at New Hope Baptist Church, with the Reverend Gene Davis officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall.
A native of Moore County, he worked the the textile industry for many years. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and deep sea fishing. Floyd was a loving husband, father and grandfather and time spent with family was very important to him. He was a son of the late Willie Calvin and Johnsie Davis Britt and was also preceded in death by his wife Patricia Davis Britt, brother, Boyd Britt.
He is survived by daughter, Kathy Garner and husband Tommy, of Robbins, granddaughters: Kristin and Kaitlyn; sisters: Shirley Williamson, of Robbins, Thelma Morgan and husband Frankie, of Seagrove; brothers: Kenneth Britt, of Robbins, John Britt and wife Pat, of Archdale.
