William Joseph Ennis

William “Bill” Ennis, age 85 of Pinehurst died Friday (January 22, 2016) at Sandhills Memory Care in Seven Lakes.
A memorial service will be held 10:00 AM Saturday (February 27) at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
A native of Albany, New York, he was a son of the late William and Helen Ennis. Bill was an Army Veteran where he served in Anchorage, Alaska during the Korean War. He served New York for 37 years while working with the State Highway Patrol.
After moving to Pinehurst he became a very active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Adoration Society. Bill was a humble man of strong faith with strong family values and solid work ethics.
He was preceded in death by: his first and second wife Jean Britt Ennis and Rosalie Veit Ennis; brother John Ennis and daughter Patricia Hug.
He is survived by his wife of six years Geraldine Guggemos Ennis; daughter Maureen Ennis of Albany, NY; son David Ennis and wife Janet of Rochester, NY; sister Carol Loeffel and husband Dewey of Albany, NY; brother John Ennis and wife Karen of Albany; seven grandchildren.
