William Robert ? Maness, 80, of 369 Borden Road, passed away peacefully April 6, 2010 at Autumn Care of Biscoe.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, April 9, 2010 at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church with the Rev. James Stalnaker and the Rev. William Hancock officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Maness was a native of Moore County. He drove a truck on and off for a number of years. He loved to fish and hunt.
He is survived by wife, Jane Garner Maness, son, Roger Maness, daughters, Rita Garner, Benita Rhodes, Christine Watson, and Audrey Smart, ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, four great-great grand children, brother, Barney Maness, sisters, Shirley Maness and Edith Pendelton.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM Thursday, April 8, 2010 at Kennedy Funeral Home in Robbins, all other times at the home.
