Alma Miller Church, age 88, died Friday (May 7, 2010) at Pinelake Health and Rehabilitation Center in Carthage.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday at The House of The Lord with the Rev. Tom Everett officiating.

A native of Watuaga County, she was the daughter of the late Jonas McCoy Miller and Luella Hefner Miller. She was also preceded in death by a son Dewey Kent Beach.

She is survived by: her husband, Robert T Church; three daughters, Joyce B. McNeil
of Knoxville, TN; Glenda B. Ragan and husband Robert of Boone and Georgia B. Cannon of Kannapolis; a son Henry Beach of Columbia, MO; thirteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends after the service at the church and at other times at the residence.
