Douglas Leon Brown, age 68 of Robbins died Friday (April 29, 2011) at his residence.
The family will receive friends at Kennedy Funeral Home on Monday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. Following the visitation Douglas' request was to be cremated with no funeral service.
He was a native of Moore County and a son of the late Thomas and Emma Williams Brown. He worked at various jobs including the Talc Mine in Robbins, security at Mansion Homes in Robbins and for several years at Stanley Furniture in West End.
He is survived by: two brothers Clyde Brown and wife Delia of Asheboro, Charles Brown and wife Sue of Greensboro; girlfriend and caretaker Judy Hatcher.
Memorials may be made to donors favorite charity.
Kennedy Funeral Home in Robbins is serving the Brown family.
