Helen Braddock Coley, 90, of Carthage, went to be with her Lord on September 18, 2024, at FirstHealth Hospice House in West End.

Helen was a native of Moore County, born January 14, 1934, to the late Clyde and Alice Speer Braddock.

She was a loving wife and mother; enjoyed reading, sewing, knitting, and her alone time.

Helen is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Coley and brothers; Owen and Clyde Jr. (Buster) and his wife, Pat Braddock, and brother-in-laws; Ike Woodell, husband of Doris and Red Hunt, husband of Bernice.

She is survived by her children: Kay Coley, Jeffrey Coley, Ann Coley, and Allen Coley, sisters; Bernice Hunt, Doris Woodell, brother, Donald (Carolyne) Braddock; grandchildren; Jerry and Chad; great-grandchildren Isabella and Cydney (CJ), and sister-in-law, Annie Ruth wife of Owen Braddock.

A visitation at Fry & Prickett Funeral Home will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2024, from 5 – 7 p.m. A graveside service will be on Friday, September 20, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Priest Hill Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Carthage.
