Janet R Fayling

Mrs. Janet R. Fayling age 88 of Pinehurst, NC died Monday, December 14th at Belle Meade Coventry.
She is survived by her husband C. D. "Chuck"Fayling, her son James R. Fayling, two grandchildren and a nephe and niece.
She was born in Greenville, Michigan. She was an avid swimmer from an early age and won serveral swimming awards. She was one of the first members fo the First Health Fitness Center in Pinehurst where she would swim in the pool five times a week.
Janet graduated Valedictorian from Greenville, Michigan High School. She majored in Accounting at Western Michigan University where she met her husband. There he told her "he would marry her in two years if he didnt change his mind." They were married a short time later on New Years day 1942.
Janet was a rabbit buff. From childhood to most of her adult life she had a pet rabbit which had the run of a fenced portion of the yard and a heated hutch on the deck. The latest member of the family was "Sam". NO cage for Sam! In addition Janet collected valuable crystal, porcelain and metal ornaments in her international travels.
