Joshua “Josh” D. Craig, 42, went to be with the Lord, on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, surrounded by his family.
Josh was a loving son, brother, father and friend. His personality made him the life of any gathering. He loved to laugh and make others laugh. Josh loved the outdoors, rabbit hunting, fishing and beach trips were always special. He also liked to work with his hands as a HVAC Tech and also growing flowers in the garden. Animals were always drawn to Josh, whether it was mules and horses, his pet rooster ” River” or his special dog “Zorra”, animals just seemed to love him. Josh was a people person and will be greatly missed. Josh was preceded in death by his grandparents: Marvin and Melvie Craig, Doyle and Geraldine Moore.
He is survived by his son: Ethan Craig, mother: Vicki York and husband Dwight; father: Ronnie Craig; brother: Clint Craig; step brother: Josh York; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Graveside service will be 2:00 PM, Monday, December 11, 2023 at Browns Chapel Christian Church Cemetery, with Reverend Shaun Garner, Reverend Colton Moore and Reverend Terry Craig officiating..
The body will lie in repose from 3 to 5 PM, Sunday, December 10, 2023 at Kennedy Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Browns Chapel Christian Church Cemetery Fund, 608 Browns Chapel Road, Robbins, NC 27325 or the American Diabetes Association diabetes.org, in his memory.
