Mary Evans Grant, 97, died Friday June 24th at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.
A memorial service will be held on Monday June 27th at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Aberdeen with Rev. Mike Branscomb and Rev. Zeb Moss officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Barnesville, GA at a later date.
Born April 14, 1914 in Pike County, GA she was a daughter of the late John Wesley and Nancy Waller Evans and wife of the late Elvin Lee Grant.
Mrs. Grant was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Aberdeen.
She is survived by her son, Burt and his wife Libbie Grant of Southern Pines, three grandchildren, Tammy Kazmierczak of Charlotte, Andy Grant of Pinebluff, Mary Lee Johnson of Huntersville, and four Great Grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. on Monday at the church.
