Shirley Poindexter Marsh

Shirley Poindexter Marsh, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2011.
A native of Moore County, she was the daughter of the late Romie and Mollie Underwood Poindexter. Shirley retired from Farm Services Agency after 42 years of service. She is preceded in death by her husband, Felton Marsh.
Funeral service will be on Friday, September 9, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Red Branch Baptist Church and burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM- 8:00 PM on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home.
Surviving are sons, Gregory Marsh (Laurie) of Carthage and Michael Marsh ( Rhonda) of Carthage daughters; Sheila Edmonds of Carthage and Kimberly Smith ( Phillip) of Carthage; brothers, Tony Poindexter of Sanford and Richard Poindexter (Glenda) of Indian Trail; grandchildren; Amy Stocks, Brennan Marsh (Samantha), Courtney Marsh, Christina Sheffield (Patrick), Bradley Marsh (Sarah), Nolan Smith and Parker Smith; great-grandchildren; Lacey, Caiden, Ethan and soon to be born, Teigan.
