Randy Gray Ashburn, age 51 died Thursday (2/17/2011) at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday (2/19/2011) at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home with the Rev. William Cashion officiating. Burial will follow at Red Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday prior to the service from 1:00-3:00 PM at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home.
A native of Moore County, he owned and operated A-1 Trench & Diggin and Randy's Gutter Service. He was preceded in death by his father, Roby Ashburn.
He is survived by his wife, Debra McKinnon Ashburn; a son, Jonathan Ashburn of Southern Pines; his mother, Delana Hickman Ashburn; a sister, Debbie Holder of Aberdeen; and a brother, Terry Ashburn of Kenner, LA and his beloved beagle dog, Molly.

Neill and Kathie Childress lit a candle for Randy Ashburn
Randy was a dear friend for many years. The last time we saw him he was smiling and happy as always. Told us about going to church at Cool Springs and how his life had changed since he had the Lord in it. He will truly be missed by everyone that knew him.
